  • Brussels Sprouts
  • Bell Peppers
  • Rainbow Chard
  • Butternut Squash

  • Lettuce
  • Kale
  • eggs
  • Empire and Cortland Apples

I didn’t grab the flower share because I wasn’t headed straight home and the flowers wouldn’t have been happy in my car. There are some lovely sunflowers, Zinnias and purple kale out there in the PYO area!

It’s meat subscription day for me as well, and I’m looking forward to working with these special cuts of lamb, pork and beef.

Check out the lovely harvest of celery! Now, if you’ve never had Springdell Celery, you are in for a treat! It brings so much incredible flavor to soups, stocks and stuffings! It freezes up well for these purposes, too, so head over to the CSA365 Veggiescope to read more on preserving and enjoying this tasty treat.

This batch of rainbow chard is amazing!  Thanks to Farmer Jamie and crew for planting this follow-up batch after the crop was enjoyed by leaf thiefs!

The ‘Dell potluck is coming up this weekend, check in at the farmstand or on the event website for details! Meanwhile see you back here this week to chat about enjoying this bounty. Meanwhile, sweet and savory dreams to you!
