The “Show” – Springdell Summer CSA Pickup #4 2

Hi everyone, Jess here to present the 4th pickup of the Springdell CSA Summer Season! It looks lovely!

Here come the golds of summer! Lovely stuff!

Summer Cabbage is the highlight of this share! Slaw, Kimchi, Sauerkraut, Galuska… The possibilities are limitless! Nan’s Cabbage Rolls is the most clicked-on cabbage recipe on this website, so that’s always a tried and true possibility. I’m hoping to try a Korean Taco recipe of some sort this week and see how that goes.

We have cauliflower too! To date I’ve tried cauliflower rice, mashed cauliflower, cauliflower grilled cheese, and cauliflower pizza crust. Nothing comes close to this recipe for Buffalo Cauliflower (adapted from Food Network)! I want to try something new but I might have to make it again because it’s so darn good…
Springdell Beef Tenderloin? I mean COME ON!!!! My meatless Monday was pre-empted by a couple of thawed beef tenderloins that weren’t thawed in time for Sunday dinner.
If you like blue cheese, this one is absolutely amazing. Yes, the rind is edible, it was so good with the tenderloin and strawberries. Their goat cheese version is great as well!

I hope you have a wonderful and delicious week! If you get stuck on how to use an item, check out the Veggiescope for help, or please feel free to message me, send a comment, text (my number is on the business cards at the farm stand). If you find a recipe that works well, please let me know too! I’ll credit you and add it to our ever-growing database of successful CSA recipes! Thanks so much for reading, and I’ll see you back here at the end of the week!
