The “Tell”-Springdell Winter CSA pickup #10

Hello everyone!  It’s hard to believe that we are only one pickup away from the end of the Winter CSA. It was quite nice to feel the warm sun today, which felt like a sign that it’s time to transition into the next CSA season.

Meanwhile, let’s review our pickup for the week, and how Sarah and I devoured our goodies:

Finally, we enjoyed some beautiful lion’s mane mushrooms from Farmer Elizabeth’s place, Fat Moon. These mushrooms were absolutely divine sautéed in a garlic lemon butter sauce. We confirmed that when cooked in this manner, they really do taste like lobster! We’ll add some information on them to the site soon, and feel free to visit Fat Moon’s site and pick up your own delicious fungi today!

We look forward to seeing many of you tomorrow at the 11th and final pickup of group A’s 2015-2016 Winter CSA season!  If it’s not your pickup day, we hope to see you out in the ‘Dell for the Springdell Farm Spring Hike!  Until tomorrow, sweet and savory dreams!
