The “Show” – Springdell Spring CSA Pickup #4

Hi everyone!  Jess here to bring you the 4th CSA pickup of the spring season. Things are warming up and cooling off and warming up and cooling off, and I’m hearing that the strawberries are coming and ready for a bountiful season!

It’s also a meat subscription week for me, a I can’t wait to start cooking up these goodies!  It’s funny, I had bumped into a gentleman at the farm stand while picking up my meat, and as he watched Arielle pile the packages high on the scale, he asked “what exactly are you getting?” I said “I don’t know yet, but that’s the fun part!” By the end of the conversation, he had an application in his hand and was ready to sign up. How cool is that?

That’s about it for me this week!  As Jamie mentioned in her ‘Dell Declaration, the red clover are great in teas and cookies. Read more by clicking here.

Remember if you’re ever stumped on what to do with a farm item, visit “Veggiescope“.  It’s is a virtual veggie-pedia for farm items.  Simply click on the category then click on the item that you wish to learn about.  As I learn more info, I add it to Veggiescope, so it’s constantly being updated as we all learn together. Give it a try today! Until next time, thanks for reading, enjoy this wonderful week, and see you back here this weekend for the “Tell” of the “Springdell Show and Tell“!
