“Friends of Fat Moon” is a group of local citizens dedicated to supporting the Almeida farm family in their search for Westford farmland. The Almeidas have been in Westford for several years providing healthy living and eating options for the community through organic farming and programs.
As of October 17, 2015, Farmer Elizabeth joined forces with fellow locavore Christine Berthold to create Fresh Start Food Gardens, an innovative idea focused on bringing more backyard gardens to the residents of Westford.
