Lions Mane Mushrooms in Garlic Butter

This gargantuan fungus has been rumored to taste like lobster when sautéed in butter. I just had to give it a try to see if the rumors were true. The conclusion? You don’t have to like mushrooms or lobster to fall in love with this dish.

Herbed Popovers

Popovers are light and fluffy little rolls that make wonderful accompaniments to hearty soups, stews, gravies, or just by themselves! The pastry flour brings an extra element of lightness and fluffiness to these lovely treats. Adding fresh herbs or herbed butter is an option as well! A muffin pan can fill in if a popover pan isn’t available.

Cilantro Pesto

Rather than one pesto recipe, I’ve opted to provide a basic pesto formula that you can make your own. All you need are herbs and oil, most else is negotiable! Nuts, cheese, citrus juices, and other stir-ins make for a wonderful addition to just about any dish!
