Fellow Springdellian Dawn DeMeo concocted this recipe as a way to enjoy her Four Star Farms pastry flour. These waffles came out so good, they won a Four Star Farms contest for best recipe! The addition of almond meal/flour takes these over the top!
This dish finishes up similar to a sweet and sour pork. Try it with chicken too!
