Burgers with Grilled Fennel and Mixed Veggie Salad

Simple grilled burgers accompanied by grilled fennel, and a salad of local spring veggies. Sarah had artichoke hearts on-hand and those are an optional not-so-local ingredient. This is a salad you too can make your own way depending on what you have on-hand! Post includes the process of blanching explained.


Slow Cooker Chili

Easy and delicious slow cooker chili made from CSA pantry ingredients. Cubed squash, cabbage, or just about any other winter veggies you have kicking around would be a great addition!


Savory Egg Muffins

Tonight Sarah experimented with a fun new way to use those beautiful Eggs! These egg cups can be a vehicle for almost any of the fresh Springdell meats or veggies. This variation used mushrooms and a bit of garlic and onion. They would be great with bell peppers, asparagus, scallions and so many more flavors.
